TCAN11623-Q1: LDO current supply

Hi team.

Can you confirm that the LDO on the SBC can supply devices up to 70mA and you don't have to take into consideration the internal consumption of the SBC and subtract it from the 70mA?

Is there any corner cases that could affect the LDO?

Hi Geraldine,

Yes, there is no issue with 70mA output capability. As long as there is suitable output capacitor placed there is no concern with the LDO stability.

Hi Geraldine,

A CAN short fault will not affect LDO output.

As I said there is no corner case expected with the proper output capacitor placed.
