DS90UB948-Q1: Parameter consultation

Part Number: DS90UB948-Q1

Dear Team,

As shown in the red part of the figure below
1. What do REPEATER=0 and=1 mean respectively;
2. If RIN1 single ended input is used as the input, Coax is used as the input, and the speed is 20Mbps, is the voltage of MODE_SELL1 configured as 0.974V or 2.642V;
Could you please help confirm? Thank you.

  • Hi Allen,

    The primary purpose of repeater mode is to extend transmission across multiple links to support multiple display devices. If repeater mode is used with a coax configuration, MODE_SEL1 must be strapped to 2.642 V.

    Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.

    Aaron
