Hi, 

For new upcoming design I am planning to use pair DS90UB953 and DS90UB960-Q1 as serializer desiralizer for camera FPD link. Addition requirements is using long cable  - up to 20meter.

What is you recommendation using additional component(s) to extend length of the cable

    Hello,

    Total cable reach can be lengthened by using interconnects and joining multiple smaller length cables. However, each connection introduces potential for impedance mismatch and signal loss. To limit potential signal loss or corruption, it is recommended to limit the use of connections in an application. If an interconnect is necessary, be sure to take note of the impedance and signal quality across the interconnect.
