Hi,
DP83849ID is a dual PHY with 2 dedicated MACs required. Can you suggest some 2-Port Ethernet Switch ICs or Dual PHY with single MAC options available with TI that provides MII/RMII interface?
We are currently evaluating 2-Port Ethernet Switch options and have encountered a limitation in available microcontroller pins.
The DP83849ID, while functionally suitable, requires two dedicated MAC interfaces, which is not feasible in our current design.
Could you please suggest alternative 2-Port Ethernet Switch ICs or Dual PHY solutions that can operate with a single MAC from TI and support MII or RMII interfaces?
We are specifically looking for configurations that help reduce pin count while maintaining reliable dual-port Ethernet functionality.
