TCA6408A: ADDR Pin Conflict Information

Part Number: TCA6408A

Hello,

The datasheet mentions in multiple locations in order to the set ADDR bit high, the ADDR pin must be connected directly to Vccp. However, the layout drawing example (Figure 11-1) shows the pin connected to Vcci. Could you please clarify? It would make more sense to me that ADDR will use the same supply as SCL and SDA but multiple locations in the datasheet list Vccp.

I am asking this because in our board we had ADDR connected to Vccp and we are getting unexpected behaviour. We have Vcci set to 3.3V and Vccp set to 1.8V but when we connect the SDA/SCL pin which are held high by default to Vcci, we are measuring 2.8-3.1V on Vccp.
