TCAN3413: IBS model fails parser check, Part TCAN3413DR

I just downloaded the IBS file for CAN bus buffer part TCAN3413DR from the TI.com website. It fails the IBS parser check and here is the log:

  • Michael. There are multiple failures of the IBS model when using the committee parser and the Hyperlynx parser. These are the errors. Note where it says ERRORS below.

    Yes, the IBIS model I shared is for a different model. Or are you implying both models give the same errors?

    There is only one IBS file that I am focusing on, that is TI File "SLLM508.zip" which contains the compressed IBS file "tcan34xx.ibs". This is the only file I'm interested in, and the only file I've written about in this case. Perhaps you are referring to the IBS checker report, which I repeated, since I was not sure we are fully communicating. I submitted this case one week ago, have you heard from those responsible, as to whether they also get IBS parser checking errors, or are working to fix this?

    I have followed up internally to resolve your "tcan34xx.ibs" concerns.

    However, I would recommended to use this different TCAN33X IBIS Model for now until the 34x model is resolved, thanks.

  • I agree the new file is much better, and produces no errors from the parsers. I still receive warnings, though but likely they are not as serious as the original errors. I will proceed to use the new tcan34xx.ibs file for my simulations of the CAN bus. TY. "Resolved."
