TUSB9261: TUSB9261 Flashing Firmware in SPI

Part Number: TUSB9261

Dear Team,

We are using TUSB9261 for SATA HDD interface. please guide us which firmware to be use for harddisk interface from the portal fimware files.

We have download the firmware from the software development page in TUSB9261 and burning the file using tusb9261 burner. But the firmware is not running . 

We are using SST25VF512A flash ic. Also suggest us the flash ic which can be used to load the firmware(bin file). as in the reference design guide there is a part list is there but that are about to absolute .

    Hi Ashok,

    Are you able to follow the TUSB926X Flash Burner guide without any issues? Does the Flash Burner detect the SPI device/TUSB9261 when it tries to flash the firmware? Is there a specific step of the flash burner user's guide that is failing.

    It seems to me like the SPI Flash you have chosen should also work in this scenario, so I don't believe there is an issue there.

    Dear Ryan Kitto,

    Firstly we have tried on two different pc for bootloader detection in that bootloader driver was not able to recognized. another pc bootloader driver was recognized successfully.

    in that i have tried flashing with TUSB926x_FW_v1.06.bin that was extracted in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\TUSB926x Firmware" 

    and after burning successfully there is no any detection is there.

    Hi Ashok,

    Does the TUSB9261 appear in the device manager at all after flashing the TUSB9261, similar to any of the figures shown in section 2.2 of the TUSB9261 flashburner guide?

    You have been able to install the driver that comes with the flash burner software in section 2.1, correct?

    Good Morning,

    Now able to detect hardware.

    I have changed the flash ic SST25VF512A to other Manufacturer as there is command(0x02 Page Programme) difference among the ic,

    Also can you guide on other two laptop cannot detect bootloader driver ?

    So after changing the SPI flash, the TUSB9261 acts as expected and shows up on the device manager? Does the device work as expected?

    When installing the flash burner, are you instructed to download the driver similar to the instructions on the flash burner guide? If so, when you plug in the TUSB9261 to the PC, what does the TUSB9261 appear as on the device manager?
