Hello TI team.
Yesterday we had some quality issues with reels on the SMT line. The components in the reels keep sticking to the cover tape. They tried different reels and still had issues; they changed lots and were no longer having issues.
9023291: 2 reels.
9021317: 6 reels.
I know that in the drawing we don't have any external specification or requirement related to the reel cover tape
Given that this sticky cover tape condition is abnormal, would it be possible to review your team has recently changed on their end—such as the tape supplier, adhesive formulation, or storage and handling conditions?
