    Hi Jon,

    This transceiver follows the RS-422 standard. If designed correctly, this RS-422 receiver can be in a bus network with 9 other receivers (so 10 receivers total), all with 1 driver. 

    However, this transceiver exceeds that standard. If the data rate, cable length, and bus loading is configured correctly, up to 32 receivers can be used (i.e. 32 nodes).
