Hi Team,
I am supporting a customer who is looking for the best TI bridge solution to convert a AM62X MPU RGB interface to an eDP (embedded DisplayPort) panel.
The key requirements are as follows:
  • Input Interface: AM62X RGB interface
  • Output Interface: eDP (embedded DisplayPort)
  • Target Resolution: 1080p @ 60Hz
  • Application: [Medical/Industrial Display]
Since TI's current eDP bridge portfolio (like the SN65DSI86) primarily focuses on MIPI DSI inputs, could the team please advise:
  1. Does TI have a direct Parallel RGB to eDP bridge solution?
  2. If no single-chip solution exists, what is the recommended TI architecture or reference design for this conversion (e.g., RGB to LVDS/DSI then to eDP)?
  3. Considering the 1080p60 bandwidth requirement, which specific part numbers would you recommend to minimize latency and system complexity?
