TUSB9261DEMO: Maximum data conversion speed

Hi,

I recently ran a simple test on my PC with your TUSB9261DEMO connected to a SDD, with SSD capable of writing in 520 MB/s.

While i ran a cmd prompt on my PC to test the speed through TUSB9261 the prompt said "Disc Sequential 64 Write 151.20 MB/s".

How fast can TUSB9261 convert USB data into SATA?

    Hi Andreas,

    Is this being used with a USB2 or USB3 application? I.E is the USB cable being used a USB3 cable.

    Is this being done with a SATA drive or an SSD? Typically, SATA tends to have lower speeds.

    Is this test the PC writing to the SSD through the TUSB9261DEMO?

    As far as I am aware, there is no way to control/increase the speed of the TUSB9261 aside from the cable being used and the SATA drive generation.

    Also, is this data in Mb or MB? If MBps, that's more data than Mbps.
