Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB8041
Hi,
We are using TUSB8041 connected to SS port of an ARM CPU. We have found that the TUSB8041 hub consumes after power up, when only upstreadm port is connected, no downstream devices connected - 0.51W (0.08A@3.3V and 0.225A@1.1V). When USB HUB Reset line, consupsion drops by aproxinatley 70mW. Only when CPU USB I/F is unbinded via Linux than consumpsion drops significatnely and is minimal.
- Is this consumpsion reasonable? I tend to assume so since I have noticed another iquiry about this in E2E post with same figures which we observe
- Is there any option to set the HUB in suspend? The datasheet mentions "Additional Feature Configuration Register" but this register has only the option to enable suspend state reading via other pins but not to actually control it.
Thank you for your support,
Jhon
