THVD1420: THVD1420\Internal circuitry features with TVS options

Part Number: THVD1420

We are using MFR part no. SP3485EN-L/TR in our one of the product in Mbus-RS485 interface but we are facing some short circuit current flow in pin B to GND line.
So can you conform weather this part no. have internal clamping or TVS diode used in internal circuitry if yes then provide TVS/clamping diode level, and it is grateful to you if you provide with internal circuit/block diagram.

Hi Yashpal,

That is not TI's part. If you are looking at an alterative transceiver, please look into our transceivers that in "9". These indicate that surge protection is integrated into the transceiver. Here is a list:

No worries.

Yes, THVD1420 does have internal protection circuitry such that it protects against 16kV HBM ESD, 12kV contact, 4kV EFT, etc. However, we cannot provide any more information about the circuitry aside from what's already in the datasheet.
