Hello,

How much ESD(HBM) tolerance does DS26C31T have?
Any other TI devices that has the same functionality as the DS26C31T but has a higher ESD(HBM) tolerance?

    Hi Hirano-san,

    Similar to the other post, what exact HBM rating is needed? Is there a requirement change? What exacting are they trying to protect against?

    The DS26C31T has the same HBM rating as the '32 receiver, which is 1.5k on the input pins and 1k on output pins. 

    I would recommend the SN65LBC172A, which has 12k HBM on driver output and GND pins, with 5k on all other pins.

    Thank you for your response.
    They do not have any specific requirements. They just want better ESD performances than DS26C31T, because they saw some ESD issue at current design using DS26C31T.
