Hi, I would like to understand if the device supports the read input port register when the port is configured as a output. So far, my tests show always an input port state of 0 even if I set the output state to 1 (I see the state using a scope to make sure).
More details: The direction configuration register (0x4) is set to 0xFF for all ports. I can change the state of any outputs using the output port register (0x3). So far no problem. But, according to the "Figure 7-2. Simplified Schematic of P0.0 to P2.7" from the specification, I should be able to readback the port state using the input port register (0x2). Is this functionnality is working ? My observations is the input port register (0x2) is only working when the port is configured as a input.
