Do we have device that can expand CAN? Like MCP2518.

Customer MCU's CAN is not enough, and need a CAN driver integrated CAN controller.

How about TCAN1164? It is cheaper and more suitable for customer application. I would like to know what's the advanced of TCAN4550 mean. Thanks in advance.

Hi Francis,

Would recommend 4550 if the CAN controller is needed. If not, 1164 should be okay as needed by customer's requirement, thanks.

Sorry one more question here, so TCAN1164 will still need to send the data to TXD and cannot only use SPI to transmit data?
