DS90UB941AS-Q1: For TI 941, is a pull-up resistor required when using the REM_INTB pin?

Part Number: DS90UB941AS-Q1

1,For TI 941, is a pull-up resistor required when using the REM_INTB pin?

2,The mode_sel0 pin is biased by a resistor divider. Will voltage ripple impact mode_sel0? Since software also writes to a corresponding register, does software override the pin state, making voltage fluctuations irrelevant? Thank you.

  • Hi Fei,

Yes, if you are planning to use REM_INTB with the deserializer, a pull-up resistor is required.

The MODE_SEL0 pin is an input pin that determines the device mode during power-on reset (POR). If there is any ripple or noise on this pin, the device may strap into an unintended mode.

Are you attempting to override the mode through register configuration? If so, could you please share the register values you are writing?

    Thanks,
    Aaron
