Signal loss over distance in different materials used for making PCBs

Hello

I am Ananya. Different PCBs are made up of different materials. I have a certain knowledge that as distance increases, impedance increases and loss in signal occurs in PCB. I wanted some information on the material losses in different PCB materials over distance. Which kind of material suffers higher loss and which is better. I would be grateful if i could get some references for the same.

Thanking you
