DS125DF111: DS125DF111 config for AURORA 64/66 10.3125Gbps

Good morning TI experts.

I would like some help regarding the optimal configuration for the DS125DF111 chip, so that it can function as a RETIMER on a Xilinx Aurora 64b/66b link at 10.3125 Gbps. At the moment, it seems to work if I select Interlaken2 mode in the SigCon Architect GUI, but I'm not sure if this is the "perfect" configuration. If I set it to "Ethernet," the Aurora link doesn't work. I used the DS125DF111 on a custom board that uses two 10Gbps optical SFP+ .

In the attached photo the link is red (no signal), only because the optical fibers were disconnected:

I would also like to have the optimal configuration for a "10Gbps ETHERNET" fiber optic link.

Hi LM,

The data rate profiles only set the CDR group 0 and group 1 lock-in data-rates. Your link speed is 10.3125 Gbps, and Interlaken2 profile configures a VCO frequency of 10.3125 Gbps. Therefore, the Interlaken2 configuration is OK for your case.
