AM26C31: Request for T&R Version and Missing Tape Specifications for PN

Part Number: AM26C31

Dear Team,

We require the T&R version for the mentioned PN. At present, Tape Pitch and Tape Width details are missing for most PN data, which is preventing further processing.

Kindly share the required tape specifications to proceed.

    Hi Jerin,

    I see that you are looking at the AM26C31ID and AM26C32ID. Part numbers with "R" in the end of the name mean that they come in a T&R. Since your PN are missing the "R", they come in a tube package, which is why they are missing the tape details. 

    The AM26C31ID and AM26C31IDR are the same device. The difference is that AM26C31IDR comes in T&R. The datasheet describes the T&R details on page 22 for the "R" device.

    But for some PN we cant able to find the T&R packing and that Pn are not available in - Carrier pack material lookup tool: Carrier pack material lookup | Texas Instruments

    Could you check and confirm if the PN is available or obsolete for eg.XIO2001ZGU

    Hi Jerin,

    It looks like you are using obsolete devices, which is also why XIO2001ZGU does not return anything in the Carrier Pack Material lookup. 

    Please scroll to the bottom of the product page where you can find the active part numbers. For instance, XIO2001IZWSR is active and shows up in the carrier lookup: https://www.ti.com/product/XIO2001

    Hi Jerin,

    I only support the AM26C31. However, my comments above still apply. For the devices in that list that do not return anything from the Carrier pack material lookup, then it is because those devices are no longer manufactured. I would also double check the formatting. Please the use the exact formatting found on the ti.com product page. 

    If you have additional questions, please create a new E2E question with the specific device name.

    I have check and update with the help of Carrier pack material lookup tool but still i have some doubts could you clarify it

    1. LM83CIMQA/NOPB

    LM83CIMQA/NOPB. identified LM83CIMQAX/NOPB as the SMT tape‑and‑reel version of the same device.

    However, when checking the Carrier Pack Material Lookup Tool, no carrier tape information (such as tape type, tape width, or pocket dimensions) is available, and the tool displays “No search result found” for this part number.

    Kindly confirm:

    • Whether the carrier pack details for LM83CIMQAX/NOPB are available through any other reference/document, or
    • If the carrier pack data is not listed in the tool despite the part being available in tape‑and‑reel.

    2. TMS320C6424ZWT4

     confirmed from the TI website that TMS320C6424ZWT4 is available in tray packaging: www.ti.com/.../TMS320C6424ZWT4

    Despite this, the Carrier Pack Material Lookup Tool shows “No search result found” for this part number.

    Please confirm whether:

    • The absence of search results is due to tray packaging (carrier tape not applicable), and
    • The part is still considered active and not obsolete.

    3. DCR010505UE4

    The part DCR010505UE4 has been identified as DCR011203U/1K, which is available in tape‑and‑reel (T&R) packaging.

    However, similar to the above parts, we are unable to find carrier tape details (tape type, width, or pocket dimensions) in the Carrier Pack Material Lookup Tool, which again returns “No search result found.”

    Kindly clarify:

    • Whether carrier pack details are documented under a different reference, or
    • If the absence of data in the tool does not imply obsolescence of the part.

    Clarification Requested

    Could you please confirm whether a “No search result found” response in the Carrier Pack Material Lookup Tool:

    • Indicates a tooling/packaging data limitation only, or
    • Should be interpreted as the part being obsolete or not recommended for new designs?

    It looks like the carrier pack material lookup does not catch everything. You will need to create a new E2E post tagged with the specific part number to get the correct support.
