DS110DF410: RECEIVER INPUTS (RXPn, RXNn)

Part Number: DS110DF410

Hello,

In our system we are using the DS110DF410 equalizer, we have a couple of questions regarding receiver inputs.

The datasheet provides the following inforamtion:

  1. Are there a performance differences between the different channels?
  2. Can we get the min and max input values of the missing channels (Vtx0, Vtx1, Vtx3)?
  • Hi Yulia,

Are there a performance differences between the different channels?

There are no performance differences between the channels.

Can we get the min and max input values of the missing channels (Vtx0, Vtx1, Vtx3)?

The four specifications in your screenshot show the recommended transmitter (link partner) output swing for different channel loss scenarios. These voltage swings are measured empirically, and ensure the signal received at DS110DF410 has a bit error rate (BER) below 1e-12.

You can reference V_TX0,max as the maximum input voltage swing for all channels that maintains <1e-12 BER. In this test condition, transmitter is directly connected to DS110DF410 RX.

    Best,

    Charles
