LMH1208: LMH1208 IN0+/- Differential Input Signal Requirements (Vdiff Min/Max)

Hello,

I am currently reviewing the differential input signal requirements for the LMH1208, specifically for the IN0+ and IN0– input pins.

Are there any specifications for the minimum and maximum differential amplitude voltage Vdiff that should be observed on the IN0+/- pins of the LMH1208?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ozaki-san,

The datasheet specifies that the minimum threshold for signal detection to be ON is 20mVpp and the OFF threshold is 18mVpp. I would suggest that there necessarily is not maximum Vpp on IN0 pins but the minimum for the device to detect the signal would be 20mVpp.

I understand that the specification for the IN0 pin of the LMH1208 states that the peak-to-peak differential signal input voltage must be 20mVp-p or higher.


Just to confirm, The following thread states, "Also, please note maximum input differential voltage is 1000mV." Therefore, should the IN0 range be 20mVp-p to 1000mVp-p?

Hi Ozaki-san,

Yes, that post is correct so your understanding that the input differential voltage range is between 20mVpp to 1000mVpp is correct.
