TUSB8044A: SMBus code example

Are code examples available for configuring the TUSB8044A via SMBus from my Host processor? I would like to experiment with the TUSB8044A EVM also. Is there a PC application that works with the EVM to configure the USB hub?

Hi Rick:

Hub default configuration should work with any PC or laptop system. SMBUS or EEPROM is only needed if you need to change hub configuration.

I want to change the VID and PID settings to our end customers values via SMBus. Can you provide code examples and register naming (.h file) for the TUSB8044A?

HI Rick:

I don't what format for your SMBUS or I2C. You just need to write register 01h -04h for VID and PID.

SMBUS address is based on your pin settings below.
