Hi TI expert

We have one hot swappable buufer for I2C with one interrupt (IRQ) and SPI with one interrupt (IRA), total is 8 pins.

For I2C, we have solution with TCA43111A, however, we need experts recommend for SPI and interrupt pins (IRQ)

Hi Vincent,

I do not recommend using TCA4311A due to missing ACK event errata.

Please consider using the p2p upgrade TCA9511A.

TCA4307 is p2p to TCA9511A, and adds stuck bus recovery mechanism.

None of our hot-swap buffers have an external interrupt pin IRQ available.

For hot-swap SPI buffers, a device like TXB0104 may work here.

Thanks for your information. We will chek TCA4307 for TCA9511A.

The solution TXB1014 is buffer, is it feasible for hot-swap? How about SN74AXC4T774?

Our SPI bus is 3.3V level need to support 5V tolerance. Any other feasible solution from TI?

Hi Vincent,

As the TXB0104 supports IOFF, this makes the device capable of level 1 class of electrical protection (Partial power down mode). This means that protection is offered when VCC drops to 0V, but the signals must be stopped prior to removal/ insertion of board into backplane.
