Could you help check the below TPS4816 schematic and any need to adjust ,Thanks

    Hi Gareth,

    Looking at your schematic I have a couple of notes:

    • For the resistor before the gate pin of the fets, we recommend that they are 2 ohms and placed close to the fet to reduce line inductance and noise
    • If you are concerned about noise I would recommend adding 1nF caps from CS+ and CS- to gnd
    • If you need reverse polarity protection or have transients that would go above Absolute maximums in the data sheet I would recommend adding tvs or clamping diode to the input and output
    • If you are concerned about your component values I would recommend using our calculator to verify that everything is correct
