Hi,

We are referring to the TUSB8041 USB 3.0 hub in our design and have reviewed the TUSB8041EVM for reference.We noticed that an EEPROM is used in the EVM design. Could you please confirm whether the EEPROM is mandatory for operation, or if the hub can function without it?Additionally, the EEPROM part used in the EVM (AT24C04A-10PI-1.8) appears to be obsolete. Could you kindly suggest a suitable alternate component?
