ESD1LIN24-Q1: Part on VW approval list

Hi support team,

I recently got the info from a colleague, that your LIN ESD protection diode may not be part of the VW LIN component approval list. Is this true?

I mean it's a dedicated LIN protection for automotive, I can't believe it's not on the list.

If it's not, are you planning to get in contact with the VW network team to get it on?

Hi Carsten,

Our team confirmed with the VW network team that LIN diodes no longer require approval through them. Meaning our ESD1LIN24-Q1 is okay to use on VW programs despite not being on the list. If you are being told something different, then please let us know and we can dig into this further.
