LMH0070: POWER UP behavior

Hi expert,

Is there a possibility that current could leak from VDD3V3 to VDD2V5 inside the LMH0070 when the power is turned on?
As described on Datasheet Page 9, the power is applied in the order of 3.3V first, then 2.5V, but it appears that the 2.5V voltage is rising while the 3.3V power supply is still being ramp up.

*The attached waveform was captured under the conditions of modifying the board so that only the LMH0070 is supplied with 3.3V and 2.5V power.

Hi,

Yes, there could be a current leak from 3.3V to 2.5V. However, because this device is old, there is no design resources to verify the leak and the only existing documentation is the datasheet.

Since the voltage of VDD2V5 is outside the range of 2.375 to 2.625 listed in the Recommended Operating Conditions table in Datasheet, can We assume that there will be no problems such as malfunctions?

Hi,

I do not expect there will be any malfunction since this device has been around for a long time and there is no existing documentation on this leakage path causing malfunctions.
