TUSB2E221: eUSB Length and EQ setting

Hi TI Expert,

Could you help me to understand the definition of table 10-1? Looks like it recommend different setting based on different distance.

From 2.5 inches ~ 10 inches, does it means the distance from eUSB2 HOST to eUSB2 repeater?

Or it means the distance from eUSB2 HOST to eUSB2 device?

Hi Evan,

For an eUSB2 HOST application, this would be the distance from the eUSB2 host to the eUSB2 repeater. Once the signal arrives at the repeater, it will be translated to a USB2 signal.
