THVD1424: COD, COA, Testing and Packaging

For the RS485 I am still looking for a non-China solution. Not sure how easy it is for you to look up but are any of these non-China?:

THVD1439

THVD1420

THVD1520

I wasn't sure if these all followed the same process flow as the THVD1424.. If you have any non-China 3.3-5V RS485 solutions please let me know. Thank you for your time

So a follow up question for you first: what is your reason for avoiding a China supply flow? Is it for tariff reasons or supply chain reasons?

For tariff purposes, you can use any part number with the ".A" suffix. THVD1424 fits this option. More tariff/import details: https://www.ti.com/ordering-resources/import-details.html 

For supply chain reasons, THVD1424 (and all those other transceivers you listed) all have the COD in the US. But the COA can vary country to country. TI assembles/tests devices in many locations across the world to help improve the supply chain. So if the China assembly site is no longer an option, we would automatically shift the flow to a different assembly location. Depending on your exact need, the THVD1424 might still work for you.

This is for a military customer who has has strict requirements that any component dealing with a data path can't touch China throughout the supply chain process. Which is why I have been looking for COD,COA, testing and packaging locations

Gotcha, that's helpful. I'll work with our planning team to see exactly if any of those transceivers meet that.

The issue of course is that those are RS-422 transceivers. However, you could still use these in an RS-485 system with some work.
