TMUX1119: IN/OUT delay time

Hi Team,

I only see that datasheet shows the part support BW up to 250MHz. But I don't see the delay time between IN/OUT port. May you help confirm the spec for our referece?

Hi Roy,

The timing characteristics we have spec'ed for this device are T_TRANSITION and T_BBM.

Transition time is defined as the time taken by the output of the device to rise or fall 10% after the address signal
has risen or fallen past the logic threshold.

TBBM is the time delay between the break and the make is known as break-before-make delay.

Hi Katy,

For TBBM, I think it's also spec of port transition behavior.

But I would like to confirm the delay time if we use one port continuously. Please see below diagram.

Hi Roy,

We do not spec this. However, when the mux is consistently open, it acts as a wire, with the resistance of the wire being the on resistance. The delay should be negligible.

Hi Katy,

I think the circuit is achieved by MOSFET, is it correct? Do you have specific spec for it?

TMUX1575 has it.

Hi Roy,

Yes, this is a CMOS switch. Unfortunately, we do not spec this for the TMUX1119.
