TUSB1044A: TUSB1044AI I2C connection questions

Hi Vishesh,

 

Customer are now is evaluating our TUSB1044AI, their got a question about which device is the most suitable to communicate the TUSB1044AI. Could you please check the question and give us feedback ASAP?

Is MCU01 is the suitable part to communicate with TUSB1044AI? Or they should directly communicate with SOC? The MCU01 is used to communicate with PD PHY01 and get the information about the protocol. The SOC is the data source.

    Hi,

    The TUSb1044A is compatible with any I2C controller. This can be a PD controller, MCU, SoC, etc.. The key requirements is that the I2C controller must be I2C compliant and meet the timing specification laid out in the datasheet of the TUSB1044A:
