Part Number: SN55HVD233-SEP

Good day,

We recently placed an order thru you TI portal under sales order # T06143089 (915274-02JOS). Our end user has reached out to us stating that the material is showing copper voids and corrosion like structurtes in the lead regions. They have asked about the sustainability of this material. Can they still use it?  If so they have asked for a docuement from TI confirming the sustainability of usuing this material. PPleas euse the below link to see atatched photos of the damages. Please advise as soon as possible. Thanks.

  • Hi Josh,

The exposure copper most likely indicates that the lead finish integrity may have been compromised and such a condition can negatively impact solderability performance, potentially impacting long term reliability risks, especially in an environment sensitive to corrosion or mechanical stress.

Hence, would not recommend as I do not believe it is fully compliant with lead finish expectations, thanks

    Best Regards,

    Michael
