TS3DV642: Interface supported by TS3DV642 query

Part Number: TS3DV642

Hi TI team,

We are looking for high speed MIPI CSI-2 1:2 MUX for our design. Does TS3DV642(Non-AEC part) supports MIPI CSI-2? We couldn't find any reference for the MIPI CSI support in its datasheet but it was mentioned in its products basic information page.

Can you confirm whether TS3DV642 also supports MIPI CSI-2?

    Hi Selvaganapathi,

    The TS3DV642 has a high bandwidth of up to 7.5GHz. This device is a passive bidirectional MUX so as long as the signal conditions are within the device specifications then there should not be a issue with this implementation.

    But we could find MIPI CSI-2 Support in TS3DV642-Q1? Any interface and spec wise change between automotive grade and standard grade (TS3DV642)

    Hi Selvaganapathi,

    I believe the reason as to why the Automotive version shows this is because MIPI CSI-2 is a common automotive protocol. There is no specification changes between the TS3DV642-Q1 and TS3DV642; The main difference is the operational temperature, the non Q1 device is rated to 85C while the Q1 is rated at 105C.
