TUSB2E221: eUSB solution

Part Number: TUSB2E221
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB2E22, TUSB2E11,

Hi

Are there any IC solutions for combining USB 3.2 Gen2 re-drivers/repeaters?

Also, is the only difference between TUSB2E221 and TUSB2E11 (including BC1.2) the number of ports? • eUSB: NVL needs eUSB to convert eUSB to USB 2.0 => TI eUSB solution TUSB2E22

Thanks

  • Hi Gareth,

What exactly are you looking for? An IC that combines a USB3.2 redriver with an eUSB2 repeater? We don't have any plans for an IC like this at the moment. It would be best to use one of our USB3 redrivers with either the TUSB2E221 or the TUSB2E11.

The primary difference between these devices is the number of supported ports, yes. The TUSB2E221 supports 2 ports, while the TUSB2E11 supports 1 port.

We are currently developing a new 1-port eUSB2 repeater that should have some improvements over the TUSB2E11 while being P2P with our competitors.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
