THVD8010: Timing Info In Datasheet is Ambiguous

Part Number: THVD8010

In the THVD8010 datasheet, the delay times are specified in "clocks"; but there is no definition for the term "clocks" and no other relevent reference to "clocks".
What is a clock period in this context?

I could assume it means the carrier frequency - but that would be a big leap without more context.
There is mention of a "spread spectrum clock" which is specified as 30KHz.  But I don't think that is the clock referenced.

Yes, this should be the carrier frequency period.

Correct, this has to do with an internal mechanism for the carrier frequency that will dampen the edge rate and spread the fundamental frequency so that the EMI generated by the device isn't hyper concentrated into one single frequency.
