TDP2004: TDP2004 compatibility with PS8483

Hello,

Has TI tested the compatibility between the TDP2004 and the PS8483 DP/HDMI retimer ?

We are looking for a suitable solution, and the TDP2004 appears to be a strong candidate.

    Hi,

    We have not tested the TDP2004 compatibility with PS8483. But with TDP2004 being a linear re-driver, its output will faithfully preserve the the input signal as long as the input signal is within the TDP2004 linearity range, so I do not see an issue of using TDP2004 with PS8483. 

    You can also request a TDP2004 EVM and physically test it with the PS8483.
