Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB2036
I am having an issue with the TUSB2036 chip. Windows 7 is recognizes that a USB device is plugged in, but calls it 'unknown device' and does not recognize it as a generic USB hub. When the chip powers on, it immediately enters suspend mode (logic 1 on pin 32 SUSPEND).
The Chip is connected as follows:
NPINT[1:0] = 11 (two permanently attached devices)
NP3 = 1 (only using two ports)
EXTMEM = 1 ( No EEPROM)
DP0PUR (1.5K resistor to DP0)
Xtal1 Xtal2 (connected to 6Mhz resonator)
Mode = 0 (6Mhz Resonator/Crystal)
BUSPWR = 0 (Bus Powered)
OVCUR 1-3 = all tied to 1 (no over-current protection needed)
Reset = connected to RC of 15k and 0.1uF to create reset signal.
What could be causing the chip to always enter suspend mode?
Matthew
