Hi, TI team:

Could you tell us if we use DS90UB983/DS90UB943 Coax method without POC, can we add Line Fault Detection?

As I know, only STP method can add Line Fault Detection, Coax with POC doesn't support Line Fault Detection, right?

    Hi Rocky,

    Thank you for reaching out. The DS90UB983/DS90UB943 does support line-fault detection for coax without PoC (Power over coax).

    Please reach out to your local FAE or TI representative and they can provide more details since the FPD-Link IV portfolio requires NDA approval.
