Hi Sir,

I would like to inquire whether you have a USB Type-C CC logic device that supports CC1, CC2, and VBUS detection pins with support for 25V input Voltage.
Additionally, could you please advise if such a p2p device can be used as a replacement for the SGM7221A?

Hi,

For up to 25V input range its best to use a PD controller. We have the TUSB422, but this is not a full PD controller.

For a P2P replacements for the SGM7221A. The TUSB320LAI/ HAI looks to be a good replacement. However, this part cannot source or sink more than 5V 3A.

Hi Sir,

As I understand it, the TUSB320LAI and TUSB320HAI devices do not support an input voltage rating of up to 25 V on the CC1, CC2, and VBUS detection pins.
Could you please confirm whether this understanding is correct?

Yes this is correct. However, when using a CC controller in a USB Type-C system, the Vbus will be limited to 5V as per the USB Type-C spec. There is no need for 25V rating on these pins.
