Part Number: TLIN1021A-Q1
We are using the LIN transceiver TLIN1021A-Q1 on one of our high voltage inlets programs. We are experiencing intermittent issues where the module is not waking up after LIN messages are sent to it. We have a theory that the LIN transceiver is recognizing the messages and is transitioning from Sleep to Standby Mode, but our MCU (LIN controller) is not always recognizing the RXD edge trigger. In this case the EN signal never gets turned on and we appear to be stuck in Standby mode indefinitely. When this fault happens it usually lasts for ~30seconds before waking up, presumably from a separate wake condition. Our question is, are there any timers or fault mechanisms that will transition the transceiver out of Standby Mode if the EN pin is never turned on. Based on the datasheet, we do not believe there is, but we wanted to reach out to confirm.
