TCA9543A: TCA9543A "Vpass" and "VDPUx"

Part Number: TCA9543A

1. What is the relationship between "Vpass" and "VDPUx" in the TCA9543A?

2. What is the relationship between "VCC" and "VDPUx" in the TCA9543A?

  • 1. VDPUx must not be smaller than Vpass.

    2. Vpass depends on VCC.

  • How about VCC value about below:
    1. VDPUM = 3.3V, VDPU0=3.3V / VDPU1=3.3V, VCC=?
    2. VDPUM = 3.3V, VDPU0=1.8V / VDPU1=1.8V, VCC=?
    3. VDPUM = 3.3V, VDPU0=1.8V / VDPU1=3.3V, VCC=?
    4. VDPUM = 3.3V, VDPU0=3.3V / VDPU1=1.8V, VCC=?

    5. VDPUM = 1.8V, VDPU0=1.8V / VDPU1=1.8V, VCC=?
    6. VDPUM = 1.8V, VDPU0=3.3V / VDPU1=3.3V, VCC=?
    7. VDPUM = 1.8V, VDPU0=3.3V / VDPU1=1.8V, VCC=?
    8. VDPUM = 1.8V, VDPU0=1.8V / VDPU1=3.3V, VCC=?

  • Just use the smallest signal voltage as VCC. (3.3 V in case 1, 1.8 V in all other cases.)

VCC can also be smaller, i.e., you could also use VCC = 1.8 V in case 1.
