Part Number: DP83867E
We're having a strange issue connecting a TI DP83867ERGZR to a Microchip LAN9373 over SGMII. The devices make link but drop a lot of packets. We believe the issue is on the SGMII interface on the LAN9373's output to the DP83867ERGZR's input. The other direction when scoped looks fine. But this direction when scoped shows what appear to perhaps be runt pulses and much too high of amplitude.
Is there any chance the DP83867ERGZR is not terminating the SGMII interface? We are at a bit of a loss at this point. I've included a scope capture below. Thank you for any suggestions you can give us!
