TS3DV642: Pin Swapping for LVDS and MIPI MUX DEMUX

Part Number: TS3DV642

Hi team,

We are currently working on a "IMX95 gateway project" in which we have used  the part mentioned below for MIPI LVDS switching in our project,

MPN :- TS3DV642RUARQ1

We are facing routing feasibility issues on our board for MIPI and LVDS signals. I just need to confirm: can we swap the clock signal? The datasheet mentions that the clock signal connects to the HPD and CEC pins for our routing feasibility

Also, please confirm if we can swap the D0+ and D0- inter pair signals based on our layout routing feasibility.

  • Hello Mohammed,

I assume you should be able to route the clock signal through HPD or CEC since the datasheet treats SCL, SDA, HPD, and CEC as identical. These pins should be functionally equivalent passive switches with the same specifications.

Yes, you can swap inter-pair signals but make sure your downstream device supports polarity inversion.

    Thank you,

    Aidan
