Part Number: TRS3221E
Dear TI Support Team,
I am using the TRS3221EIRGTR device for a UART-to-RS-232 interface application. While reviewing the datasheet, I was unable to find sufficient information to accurately estimate the total power consumption and supply current under maximum operating conditions.
Could you please help clarify the expected power consumption/current for the device at the maximum data rate and typical operating condition?
Below are the design specifications for my application:
- Device Part Number: TRS3221EIRGTR
- Supply Voltage (VCC): 3.3 V
- Driver Output Voltage: 5.4 V
- Baud Rate: 115200 bps
- Application: Debug Port
- Communication Cable Length: 10 meters
Specifically, I would like to understand:
- Typical and maximum ICC current consumption
- Total power dissipation during active communication
- Any additional considerations for worst-case power estimation
Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
