DS90UH941AS-Q1: ds90uh941as -> ds90uh948Q1

Part Number: DS90UH941AS-Q1

I am curious if the ds90uh941as will work with the ds90uh948Q1.  It states it does, but I was wondering if there's an example for how the example would work.  I would assume there's a timing issue that has to be figured out.

The other question is can I have a 22-pin FPC connector MIPI DSI connector to the DS90UH941AS-Q1 chip.  Then on the other siide the ds90uh948Q1, outputing HDMI to the LG 8.8" touchscreen?

Thanks!

  • Hi Michael,

    Yes, Ux941AS and Ux984 work together. Both devices are FPD-LinkIII devices, the 941AS is a serializer that takes in MIPI-DSI data as input and outputs FPD-LinkIII Serial data then the Ux984 takes in the FPD-LinkIII serial data as input and outputs OLDI differential LVDS data.

    You can work with single FPD channel or dual FPD channel depending on how much video BW you need to support - please refer to both devices datasheet as the spec is explained in detail in each device datasheet. Let me know if you have any further questions, thanks!
