DP83825I: DP83825IRMQR RTOS driver missing

Hello Team

I need support for my customer. The DP83825IRMQR should be used with a ESP32 from Espressif but the available stack doesn't support the DP83825IRMQR. Assuming that FreeRTOS is used my customer wonders if we have a driver that can be used.

Hi Jan,

DP83825 RTOS driver is available, however not directly supported for RTOS on non-TI SoCs. Existing drivers can be used as a reference to port into ESP32 SDK, please see here:

https://github.com/TexasInstruments/ti-ethernet-software/blob/main/linux_drivers/dp83822.c (compatible with 825, Linux driver can be referenced for register configurations)

If there is an existing PHY driver in ESP32 SDK, I recommend following similar API structure and replace register mapping using Linux/RTOS references.
