Hello Team,
We are using the PCA9536 io expander with I2C interface. We are detecting the IC correctly and configuring it with command of 0x03 configuration resistor after that we write down data into data register 0x0e as the P0 is our output and P1 is of input and we give command to read the data then we receive 0xfe. I am writing 0x0e but during reading, I am getting 0xfe due to this I am not getting the as expected behavior of the IO expander.
but when reconfiguring it with 0xfe by writing and reading also the same 0xfe it works fine and as expected.
are there any note or the points in data sheet that we have to configure the upper four bits which are not relevant for PCA9536 should configure with 1 that means 0xfe
