TUSB2E221: Leak current to SoC while SoC is not working but the repeater is working

Hi Team

Customer is asking if there is leak current from Vbus 5V to SoC through TUSB2E221. The SoC is not working but 3.3Vcc and 1.8Vcc are powered.

I think very small current such uA order can be leaked to SoC because the DP to eDP path is working. The current depends on impedance of the eDP pin for SoC. If they want to reduce such leak current, RESETB should be pulled low to be Hi-Z. My understandings are correct?

    This 1.5KOhm PU should be to 3.3V, not VBUS.

    If the SOC is disabled, then the eDP/eDM pins of the repeater should not be transmitting anything to the SOC, as the repeater will be in a default state, and will not be able to translate USB2 signaling to eUSB2 signaling for the SOC. Hence, no data, voltages or currents should be able to reach the SOC coming from the device.

    Additionally, the DP/DM pins have internal 390KOhm PDs to ground to help prevent any leakage as well.
