The fact is that the LSF0204RGYR datasheet specifications for the land pattern shows that the EPAD has stitching vias.
There is no reference or suggestion in the datasheet stating that the EPAD should be connected to a GND plane, though.
Our current understanding is that this EPAD should be connected to a GND plane (rule of thumb) but we wanted to confirm it.
Otherwise this pad will be connected to a one void copper plane on the TOP side.
Could you please confirm the best recommendation for this EPAD connection, either by GND plane with stitching vias or leave it connected to a void copper plane?.
